Our history begins 1930 in Munich-Altperlach...

| After 25 years of hard work, in 1930 the master brewer Gottfried Jakob
realized his dream. He established a private research brewery in Altperlach.
His aim: the development of new brewing technologies and even better beers. In
many writings and patents he passed on his knowledge. Even then, a private bar
was opened and the public was asked for its expert judgement. It is this
heritage which makes our house so special and our beers unique. |
